CORCOVADO RAINFOREST ODYSSEY (CRFO)

3 Days/2 Nights

Explore the rainforest canopy and listen to the sounds of the wild through your deluxe tent home at Corcovado Lodge. Includes half-day guided tour to an eight-story-high tree platform to observe life in the canopy. Recommended stay 3-4 nights.

DAY 1

Pick-up at San José hotel for the 30-60 minute transfer to Pavas Airport. From here you will fly for one hour to Carate, about a mile southeast of Corcovado Lodge. Upon arrival, walk 30-45 minutes with a Corcovado Guide to the Lodge (luggage will be transported by the Lodge). Free afternoon for hiking in the Corcovado Lodge Preserve and/or Corcovado National Park. Dinner and overnight at Corcovado Lodge Tent Camp. (L,D)

DAY 2

After breakfast enjoy a half-day guided tour to our tree platform in the rainforest canopy, where more than half of the jungle wildlife is found. Dinner and overnight at Corcovado Lodge. (BLD)

DAY 3

Either early in the morning or at mid-day (depending on tides**), return to San José. Transfer to hotel in San José. (B)

**Flight times depend on the tide, as the walk from Carate to Corcovado Lodge (and vice versa) is on the beach. Walking at high tide can be difficult, as the waves will be washing in over your feet. By programming our flights two hours before/after the high tide, we avoid this difficulty.

Two nights lodging at Corcovado Lodge Tent Camp, six meals, half-day tree canopy platform trip with Platform Guide, RT air San José-Carate-San José, all airport transfers and taxes and entrance fees in effect at the time of booking.
